Having just completed the inaugural course at SPESE I wanted
to applaud you for your effort in developing the programme and for creating
this opportunity to explore the area of private equity and its applications.
It's a course that fills a gap in the market and has a far
more practical approach to student development that the more theoretical
offerings from MBA and other studies I have undertaken in the past.
The format of the course, by combining a theory component an
industry guest speaker and then a student project presentations all built
around a common theme each session is a unique learning experience.
With my current consulting business and broad background on
the construction and property industries I have undertaken a lot of entrepreneurial
activity to date including start-ups, property development deals and business
expansions. But this course further developed my understanding if buying and
selling and my deal-making skills and I would highly recommend it to anyone contemplating
an entrepreneurial pursuit in business.
